He answered the phone last week in a voice I did not recognize. It was deep and full and just a little bit crackly. "Hello?"
"Who is this?" I asked
"Hi Grandma!" The man said.
Grandma? Who is this man calling me Grandma?
"Cameron?"
"Yeah."
Oh my God! It happened. It happened overnight. One day he's playing with Lego's and the next he's wearing cologne and checking out the girls.
I'm taking him and one of his friends to Six Flags Magic Mountain next week for his thirteenth birthday. I suspect I'll need to bring a good book. *Deep sigh*
